Originally from Australia, Rett moved to the mountains of Hokkaido. While living in northern Japan Rett realized the opportunity in the local real estate market and build a successful business. Rett was already firmly established as a successful entrepreneur when he met David Sperling.

Chris started his career in real estate in 2006 developing property in a booming ski resort town in Northern Japan. For over 10 years, he worked for a local Japanese development company where he was involved in all aspects of the real estate sector including property management, sales transactions, and project management. Upon moving to Hong Kong in 2011, he set up his own asset management firm to cater to his private clientele of HNW investors across Asia. As technology developed, Chris became interested in the business model of data centers and specifically how the cash flow management relates to real estate. Now, he continues provide financial services for the group as well as liaise with external private investors.
